The Greek external pilot was organized on Wednesday 23 October, 2024 from 15.00 until 16.30 local time (CET). The event was organized by HOU on the premises of Democritus University of Thrace in Kavala Campus, Greece. It was a face-to-face event with 21 participants in a gender-balanced group. The attendees were final-year university students enrolled in an “Educational Technology” course, all of whom showed a keen interest in pursuing careers in teaching.

During the first phase, participants were informed about the BioBeo project, its objectives, and main concepts (Figure 1). During the pilot study and evaluation, participants had the chance to test the ENCORE platform, experiment with its features, share opinions with their partners, and ask questions to the local organizer. Most participants worked independently, while others worked in small groups of two or three people.

Finally, from 21 participants, 20 completed the online questionnaire. After testing the platform and during the discussion, participants said that they positively see ENCORE platform and they think it will help them during the didactic scenario preparation. Finally, they wished to see one day ENCORE platform to be a well-known OER aggregator with multi-language support, as an everyday tool to support them in future teaching activities.
