A webinar was organized by the Hellenic Open University (HOU) on the 4 of March 2025, to explain to teachers, educators, educational policy makers and final year University students attending a teacher training course, the benefits of OERs and how they can enhance teaching, learning, and research. Around 50 participants joined the webinar for around one and half hours (from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM CET), of which most were coming from the Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH), University of Ioannina (UoI), Hellenic Open University (HOU), the Hellenic Education Society for STEM (E3STEM), University of Padova (UniPd) and University of Pisa (UniPI).

After a welcome message from the organizers, Beau Nijsten (EADTU) made an introduction to the ENCORE project and explained its vision and objectives (Fig. 1). Then, Ioannis Paliokas (HOU) and Alexandros Tzallas (HOU) explained deeper the concept of OERs (Fig. 2) and made a live demonstration of the ENCORE platform. Alexandros Tzallas (HOU) closed the webinar with a presentation on the recommended models for Integrating OERs into Educational design and everyday Teaching.
